Disk Cache Overload Cubase 11, About a month ago I began experiencing a bizarre issue in Cubase. Did anyone experienced I just resolved a disk cache overload problem, also had 500 GB of SSD. I’ve been having an issue with Disk Cache spikes/overloads causing pops when moving the play position the locater bar and I’m at a total loss how to fix it. Wondering if anyone else is So I’m not sure how long this has been an issue but I feel like it started around when I got Cubase 12 maybe a little earlier but I have no idea where to start to fix this. I have a project with a lot of audio tracks and it maxes our the disc cache (like 100% instantly right And then as soon as I duplicate a vocal track the disk cache overload starts again. 30. Its the problem caused by doubled clocking. Cache Overload is telling you that the hard disk can't keep up - it might be it can't read the data fast enough during playback so it can't keep the cache full, or it might be it can't write I believe the "disk cache" that cubase is referring to is the location it stores track freezes and other recorded material before dumping it in the project folder.
